2025 AWARD RECIPIENTS
Presented by the Toronto Community Benefits Network's Board of Directors, these awards honours long-standing supporters of TCBN’s mission to advance community benefits throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Chris Campbell
Chris Campbell, President of the Toronto Community Benefits Board, brings over 30 years of leadership in the Canadian construction industry with a focus on equity, mentorship, and community empowerment. As outgoing President of Carpenters' Union Local 27 and current Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the Carpenters’ Regional Council, he has created pathways for Black, Indigenous, and racialized youth. He has also served on the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists and the Toronto Police Black Community Consultative Committee. In 2023, he launched the Chris Campbell Perseverance Award at George Brown College to support diverse students in construction. His recognitions include the 2024 Impact Award, the 2022 Bromley Lloyd Armstrong Award, and inclusion among Canada's 100 Most Influential Black Canadians in 2022. His work continues to inspire the next generation in construction.
